 2009 Season summary

 

2009 was nearly a fantastic year. Coming 2nd in the Surrey Open was the highlight and also the most disapointing moment. A double bogey on the 53rd hole of 54, left me 2nd by a single shot. a very large event with 144 players meant a quality field and I have definitely taken the positives. 10 under par for 3 rounds was certainly a plus point!

Several 2nd & 3rd places in Pro Am's were "so near and yet so far". My driving was good. Irons were average. Short game was fine. Putting was GOOD or POOR.

I really know what I need to improve on going forward and the future is bright. Playing South region events for the 1st time in many years has re-opened an avenue of competitiveness I did not realize that I missed. Roll on 2010.
